A home of prayer in Richmond since 2006
ከ2006 ጀምሮ በሪችመንድ የጸሎት ቤት
We have been serving God in the Richmond, Virginia area since 2006. The Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church is one of the ancient churches founded in the time of the Apostles and belongs to the family of Oriental Orthodox Churches.
With a consecrated Tabot, our parish celebrates the Divine Liturgy and the sacraments, and performs christenings, weddings and funeral services. We work to pass on the faith, history, language and traditions of our Church to our children born in the diaspora.
We invite everyone to visit, pray with us, and learn about the faith, order, tradition and history of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church.
ከ2006 እ.ኤ.አ. ጀምሮ በሪችመንድ፣ ቨርጂኒያ አካባቢ እግዚአብሔርን እያገለገልን እንገኛለን። የኢትዮጵያ ኦርቶዶክስ ተዋሕዶ ቤተ ክርስቲያን በሐዋርያት ዘመን የተመሠረተች ጥንታዊት ቤተ ክርስቲያን ናት።
ዘወትር እሑድ አብረን እንድንጸልይ እና በስብከተ ወንጌል፣ በሰንበት ትምህርት ቤት እና በማኅበረሰብ ሕይወታችን እንድትሳተፉ በአክብሮት እንጋብዛለን።

አገልጋዮቻችን
The Parish Council has seven members. Five are selected by the General Assembly, the sixth is the Head Priest, and the seventh is a priest.
የሰበካ ጉባኤው ሰባት አባላት አሉት። ከእነዚህም አምስቱ በጠቅላላ ጉባኤ የሚመረጡ ሲሆኑ፣ ስድስተኛው የደብሩ አስተዳዳሪ፣ ሰባተኛው ደግሞ ካህን ናቸው።
Of these, the Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, Accountant, Cashier / Receipts and Property hold the titles of Church Officers.
ከእነዚህ መካከል ሰብሳቢ፣ ምክትል ሰብሳቢ፣ ጸሐፊ፣ ገንዘብ ያዥ፣ ሂሳብ ሹም፣ ገንዘብ ተቀባይ / ደረሰኝ ክፍል እና ንብረት ክፍል የቤተ ክርስቲያኑ ኃላፊዎች ናቸው።
Duties of the Officersየኃላፊዎቹ ተግባራት
- General supervision of the affairs of the Church
- Maintenance of all non-cash Church property
- Keeping Board attendance and minutes at all meetings
- Preserving financial statements and all legal papers
- Presenting financial reports as specified by the Board of Directors
- የቤተ ክርስቲያኑን ጉዳዮች በአጠቃላይ መቆጣጠር
- ከገንዘብ ውጭ ያሉ የቤተ ክርስቲያኑን ንብረቶች መጠበቅ
- በሁሉም ስብሰባዎች የአባላትን ተገኝነትና ቃለ ጉባኤ መያዝ
- የሂሳብ መግለጫዎችንና ሕጋዊ ሰነዶችን መጠበቅ
- በቦርዱ በተወሰነው መሠረት የሂሳብ ሪፖርት ማቅረብ
Much of the work of the Church is done through committees appointed by the Board of Directors. The remaining Board members chair committees as assigned by the Board.
አብዛኛው የቤተ ክርስቲያኑ ሥራ በቦርዱ በሚሾሙ ኮሚቴዎች ይከናወናል። ቀሪዎቹ የቦርድ አባላት ቦርዱ በመደባቸው ኮሚቴዎች ሰብሳቢ ሆነው ያገለግላሉ።
